PathSegmentCollection-PathGeometry improvement

Hello! I'm noticing that the PathSegmentCollection in PathGeometry class is a bottleneck for the Silverlight rendering. Does another way exist to render geometries (a polygon in particular)? The problem I'm talking about is the one exposed here. Basically, PathGeometry regenerates the internal geometry every time a new point is added, while StreamGeometry does not. Is there something similar to StreamGeometry in Silverlight?
